It is with a heavy heart that we announce Don’t Worry, Be Scrappy! will be closing its doors. I am so fortunate to have such a supportive family. For nearly 3 years, we have been pouring our hearts into my business. They have given up my time and theirs so willingly. They have supported my dreams.
We struggled through the ups and downs of owning a small business. Unfortunately, it has taken its toll on us and we find ourselves choosing between our family time and the business all too often. The daily grind has worn me down physically and emotionally and as much as I wish I could keep handling it all, the honest truth is that I can’t.
We have cherished getting to know so many different people – celebrating your memories with you has been the highlight of many of our days. A piece of my heart will always remain dedicated to those whom I have been able to touch in some way during my time owning Don’t Worry, Be Scrappy!
The time has come though for me to return home. My daughter has packed more orders, answered more paper craft questions, and given up mommy time more than any little girl should ever be expected to. My husband has helped with designing and programming a wonderful web site, he has been there lending a helping hand at all my big events, and he has watched our little steps forward open up a little retail world we never imagined possible.
What are my plans? For now, I am looking forward to getting to take some much needed down time. I miss having a hobby and I can’t wait to get back to working on my daughter’s albums. My home is in need of so much needed TLC and I hope that a portion of the work I put in can be on a little scrapping space of my own.
So with all that said…. Thank you for being there to watch Don’t Worry, Be Scrappy! blossom into the lovable little paper craft store that it has become. Thank you for entering our hearts and sharing your projects. Thank you for letting us be there for the good times and the not so good times through your pictures and memories.
I will miss you dearly but hopefully we will have time to scrap together in the future!

I wish there was a definite answer, but that is up to you more than me.
As of right now – Don’t Worry, Be Scrappy! is a store without an owner. If you have always dreamed of owning a paper crafting store then this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
